The other day as we were rushing to make it to the gym for a spin class, we had an awe-inspiring gift from the Universe that literally stopped us in our tracks. A butterfly flew slowly overheard circling us and landed on Kim’s finger. It then proceeded to hang out for the next hour alternating between each of our hands. We were mesmerized by its beauty, the slow movement of its wings and its vibrant colors. Of course we started snapping photos and talking about the Universal messages it had for us.
The first message was obvious, we were hurrying to get somewhere and missing out on the present moment. The utter amazement of the experience made us slow down and appreciate the moment, so fully that it took us a while to realize we’d totally missed our gym class. The second message spoke directly to a co-creative meeting we’d had the day prior regarding some of our goals. These goals coincided with a quote we recently placed on social media; ‘It is the end of the world said the caterpillar. It is just the beginning said the butterfly’. The butterfly’s visit signified that we were on the right path with some of our specific goals.
When the Universe Talks
The butterfly was such a clear sign from the Universe, the kind that gives you the chills from head to toe screaming ‘pay attention’. We couldn’t stop smiling while we were holding this Universal messenger. It reminded us of the constant stream of guidance that is being offered through subtle signs and synchronicities. The challenge (or rather opportunity) is to make sure we are present enough to notice them. We find this to be a significant and often overlooked part of manifesting ones goals and dreams. It includes leveraging our mind and spirit more than relying solely on our actions alone. In our book, Manifesting Mindset this is the 6th and final step in the attraction formula.
Step 6 of the Attraction Formula: Expect it & Look for Universal Signs
Do you notice the times when…
You open a book to the exact page with something helpful that you need to read?
Someone calls that you want to speak with?
You see a billboard or hear a song that gives you a new idea for your goal or objective?
A butterfly, hawk, deer, shooting star or other messenger from Mother Nature crosses your path at just the right moment?
These are examples of the subtle signs and synchronicities that are everywhere when you first identify your goal. If you miss these signs and focus solely on the bigger conditions to change or demonstrate the next indicated step…you may take the slower road to accomplish your goal.
As you go through your day, pay attention, notice how you feel and take action on your inspired thoughts. As you are moving throughout your day gather and look for data that supports your target goals. Look for these subtle signs each day. Repeat this statement each morning; Today I am present and aware. I notice the signs indicating I am on my path. I look for that which I want to see and I find it. I am aware of the subtle signs guiding me toward the next best steps for achieving my goals.
