Do you have a habit of focusing on your limitations or weak spots more than your strengths? As a culture of problem solvers vs. solution finders it is easy to see how resolving perceived weaknesses takes priority over fostering strengths. There is almost a sense of obligation or responsibility to focus on one’s limitations until they are resolved. However persistent focus on fixing perceived short comings creates an imbalance that can be more challenging to overcome. In fact, it may be nearly impossible to cultivate strengths through the lens of weaknesses.
